TD Madison and Associates Places New President of the Association of Communication Enterprises (ASCENT)

TD Madison and Associates, one of the nations most respected retained executive search firms, has successfully placed Mr. Walter Blackwell as the new President of the Association of Communication Enterprises (ASCENT). ASCENT, the leading trade organization of entrepreneurial communication firms and their suppliers contracted with TD Madison and Associates in December of 2001 to replace Ernie Kelly, who had announced his retirement effective April 30, 2002.Mr. Blackwell, a 30-year veteran of the high-tech communications industry, brings to ASCENT a proven background in trade association and business management. His proven track record in trade association management is coupled with strong credentials in education, training and a wealth of industry knowledge. Blackwell intends to take ASCENT to new places and bring added value for the membership through new, innovative programs that benefit member companies, their employees and the communications industry at large.
