We’re pleased to announce a new placement: Rakesh Taori will be joining CableLabs as their new Vice President of Wireless!
Rakesh is a pioneer of 5G and wireless communication with well over a decade of 5G experience that he will bring to CableLabs. He is an expert at wireless communications and infrastructure, and will leverage that knowledge to help CableLabs prepare for the coming demands around the 5G roll out.
With vast amounts of unlicensed, shared spectrum for local/private 5G becoming available, cable operators offering wired and wireless services have an unprecedented opportunity to build a truly converged network of the future. CableLabs is in a unique position to architect, define and drive the network convergence paradigm. I’m looking forward to working with the world-class researchers and engineers at CableLabs, helping the cable and broadband industry to innovate the next generation of wired and wireless networks.
