Strategic Executive Recruitment

Every client is unique, so our first step is to build a comprehensive understanding of their mission, goals, and culture. We consult with the client’s team and conduct a thorough review of the business and the role, its technical and cultural requirements, and the competencies of the ideal candidate.

For each position, we create a custom client-branded Brochure that emphasizes the strengths of the client to candidates. We identify and target suitable candidates through extensive research, employee branding and position promotion, and a deep understanding of the industry.

The Candidate Journey

To identify the best possible candidate for each opportunity, we employ a 7-stage process to assess and onboard candidates, working closely with the client throughout. 

Step 1: Initial Interview

Following an analysis of the candidate’s experience and career goals, we carry out in-depth phone interviews to further validate their suitability for the position, their culture fit with the recruiting organization, and their personality traits. 

Step 2: Client’s Interview

We organize phone interviews between the remaining candidates and our clients. This is an opportunity for our clients to assess candidates and their capabilities. We discuss the interview outcomes with clients and offer guidance. Only the strongest candidates go forward. 

Step 3: Face-to-Face Interview

The shortlisted candidates are invited to a face-to-face interview. Before the interview, each candidate completes a personality assessment to provide additional insight into their viability and suitability for the role. 

Step 4: Structured TDM Panel Interviews

We coordinate a panel interview with the client’s hiring committee, shortlisted candidates, a TDM representative, and third-party experts if required. Candidates are asked to prepare a presentation and lead a discussion covering 4-6 points provided by the client with regard to the position’s responsibilities, strategic goals, and objectives. 

Step 5: Offer Negotiation

TD Madison acts as an intermediary to tender the offer and to support the client and candidate through contract negotiations and other issues related to the opportunity. 

Step 6: Candidate Background Assessment

Once the client has made a final offer to their preferred candidate, we secure signed consent from the candidate to carry out a formal Reference Summary and Background Investigation. We complete a thorough investigation and provide a written reference and background report. 

Step 7: Follow-up and Closure

TD Madison continues to support both the client and candidate after the offer has been accepted. We manage the process all the way to completion and help offload burden from your HR department.
